October 18 in the frame of the Day of Spiritual Accord, at 14:00 (GMT + 6), Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) will host an International conference themed: "Strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony as an answer to modern world challenges ".
On October 18 in Astana was held a meeting of the international organizing committee of the World Forum of Spiritual Culture.
In continuing of International scientific-practical conference "Interethnic harmony - the basis of religious stability", which took place before, members of the Presidium of the World Forum of Spiritual Culture held a meeting to discuss current issues and projects.
The event was in a warm and friendly atmosphere in “Marriott” hotel.
During the meeting, were discussed bright initiatives and heard presentations of the active members of the movement: Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, People’s National Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon, Executive Director of the Research Center of the private rights named by S.S. Alexeyev under the President of the Russian Federation Yuryi Ageshin, President of the Lebanese- Russian House, professor Suheil Naim Farakh, Founder of the Intersections International Robert Chase (USA), correspondent of "Mirror of the Week" newspaper Nataliya Varenyk (Ukraine), rector of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory Begaliyev Muratbek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Collective Association "Monolith" Darnev Svetozar (Russian Federation), Chairman of the Supervisory Board “Sphere of Open Relations” Darneva Irina (Russian Federation), Chief Information Officer of the International center of Spiritual Culture Trunina Larisa (Russian Federation) and also composer and the president of the International association “Peace through Culture” Tolegen Mukhamejanov.
At the end of the event, guests of the conference visited concert dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Harmony, "Astana Opera" at the State Theatre of Opera and Ballet, where the cantata by Carl Orff "Carmina Burana" was performed.
