On January 18, 2020, the winners of the 9th National Prize "People’s Choice of the Year" were solemnly awarded in the capital of Kazakhstan.

Voting took place in the official group on Facebook. In each award category, there were nominated up to 10 applicants.

By the decision of the jury, the prize in the honorary nomination Golden Age was awarded to the well-known composer Tolegen Mukhamejanov.

The National Prize "People’s Choice of the Year" was organized by the Republic-Region-Development Foundation in 2011 to award popular public figures of Kazakhstan.
