President of the International Association "Peace through Culture" took part in the World Sufi Forum

President of the International Association "Peace through Culture" Tolegen Mukhamejanov took part in the World Sufi Forum, that was held from 17 to 20 March 2016 in the capital of Indian Republic, New Delhi. Main theme of Forum was "Sufism in the XXI century - the search for solutions of the global crisis".

The forum was attended by over 600 delegates from Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Malaysia, USA, Canada. The Opening ceremony attended the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Prominent Muslim leaders from around the world gathered in New Delhi to join forces and elaborate effective measures to reduce the violence, terrorism and extremism, which is usually carried out under the guise of religious beliefs. Delegates were unanimous in calling for religious tolerance, confessional harmony and peace.
